Our story

Liz Hanchuruck has fond childhood memories of walking through a dahlia field while filling her basket full of blooms in her hometown Branford, CT. Years later, her love of gardening, inherited through many generations, rooted here in Centerville with a focus on pollinator perennials. Supporting and raising Monarch butterflies through gardening became a priority.

With the help of two beautiful daughters who loved scissors and cutting fresh garden flowers, Han Picked Flowers was born. Thankfully one of Liz’s first garden goals was to have as many blooms as possible, from early April until October’s cold returns. We are now excited to share the abundance of colorful blooms, rich textures of floral design, and fresh garden cut flowers with the local Cape Cod Community.

The petite arrangements, first sold at the Hanchuruck daughter’s lemonade stands, have become a well loved reminder of nature’s beauty in offices, classrooms, bed side tables, living rooms, and bathrooms locally. With the right care, arrangements are long lasting and well- admired.
